Deck Heroes Oceanus High Level Deck

Stargater posted his Oceanus Deck on Youtube so I figured that I would share it with you. Its a dare to dream deck for most of us lol. I am about 3 months behind in evolving my 5 stars and I need to redirect my efforts to the Level 5 Chambers. So I will see if I can crack the chambers soon and write guides. I am sorry for all the video posts but I am babysitting and he won't let me type more than a few words lol. I will probably never see Oceanus but I am 78 Shards away from my Captivator.

The things that the little people (like me) can take from this video are that:

1. Melding Disposal on Royal Dragon can be a good idea.

2. Battleblow 8 on Graboid seems to be a good Vanilla option

3. Farm Horned Beasts for one of Thalassa's Recycle Skills

4. Resurrect Melds well onto Light Brave

Well that is it for today. I am sorry that this post was another cookie cutter post but I had to toss something together before the little one gets up and starts playing his games on the computer. I hope you are all doing good. I did think this was a good video with about 4 bits of info that is useful to us lower level players. I also scored a Balthazaar today so I might finally be able to destroy 10-5 and do a guide on it once I level him up.

Deck Heroes Exploration Guide

Hi guys I am in a lot of pain today so I am just going to do a quick post on Exploration and what Shards are worth Farming and why in Deck Heroes. I am writing the guide more towards the perspective of Good Creatures for Guild Maps, Arena, Battle etc and not for Unsealing. You can see which creatures unseal what in the Unseal portion of the game. Its not top secret or anything.

I wanted to apologize to all of you that the blog has been a little boring lately. The truth is I lost those 2 weeks and now I am playing catchup. I don't really have any extra energy to do anything fun. I am just trying to get some shards put together before the next meld event. I have a couple cards that I don't have the duplicates farmed yet that I cannot finish them. So since I am spending a lot of time farming shards I figured Why not make a quick exploration guide.

My other site update is that I am going to start making my own videos soon. I realized that I can run some screen capture software on the Game now that I play on my PC. I will have to buy a microphone before I can add any commentary but I will figure something out before then.

Deck Heroes Exploration Guide

Overseer Sucks, Meld Fodder
Centaur Grunt Sucks, Meld Fodder
Blood Seeker Sucks
Zombie King unlocks Thalassas so you will need to farm 13 o him for 2 Thalassas
Voltic Priest is okay I guess if You are struggling early but shes not useful at higher levels so its better to do it without her
Frost Rager is one of the most important creatures early on you will want tons of her For guild maps and the like
Dark Assassin unlocks Thalassa so you need 12
Dream Healer sucks
Treant Guide is the best Newbie Healer so you can consider farming 1 or 2 but if you can wait awhile Horned Beast is better

Fire Lizard is for Thalassa you need 12
Night Terror 12 for Thalassa
is good especially when Melded with Frost Armor
Blood Warlock is good for Guild Maps
Dream Guide is needed to unseal a couple creatures
Oracle is awesome you are going to need quite a few of her
Paladin is good melded with Frost Armor
Moonwalker is decent and you need her for unseals. I wouldnt farm too many though
Icy Mage is okay, your choice
Warband Chief is meh

Frost Caller has her uses especially in Curse Decks
Sentry Angels are awesome and you need them for unseals
Treant Weaver sucks
Troll Mage you need for Thallassa
Tauro General is great for Guild Maps with Frost Armor
Arrow Braves are great vs Neander and are useful for the Dreaded 8-11 but after that they arent that useful except in guild maps sometimes
Tauros Elder Unlocks Ares
Flame Master Unlocks Ares
Eye of Jonarra is a really solid creature
Plague Dragon looks cool...He is on the backburner atm though
Naga Mistress unlocks Ares
Border Guards are good vs Mortii but I dont have time to farm them right now
Grand Mage IDK maybe for Antidisposal
Graboid is sick with Sacrifice or Battleblow

Well that wraps it up. I am sorry I didnt have time to write a better post but Guild Battles are today and I want to do some art. I hope you all are doing good and as always I hope that the Draws are Ever in Your Favor.

Deck Heroes Gauntlet Guide

Okay I am going to get started on my Deck Heroes Gauntlet Guide. There is a hack/exploit for the gauntlet that I will post here after I get written up. I am not sure if I will use it because it is a little bit of a pain in the ass but it might help some of you. I usually don't do the gauntlet because I hated it. But Deck Heroes has made some changes including I believe one that enables your creatures to come alive again after 12 hours.

Update: May 18 2015. I did a good post on a Sabotage Deck that I think will be interesting and helpful for clearing the gauntlet.

Deck Heroes Gauntlet Guide

My post is going to begin as so many does with a video from Ragnarok but I will be adding a bunch of my own original content below it, including that bug/exploit that I told you about. But I am beginning my gauntlet learning process with this video so I figured it might interest you as well. It is a video on how Gauntlet Difficulty is determined.

So basically the moral of this video. is don't increase your deck power until you complete the gauntlet. I also liked the tip about storing energy rewards in your mail box until there is a double material day. That is smart. Okay I will get started on this gauntlet thing again and hopefully have more tips soon. I have to go back to real life for a bit now sorry.

Gauntlet Tips

1. Okay one of the fairly new changes to the Gauntlet (and a good one) is that you creatures will rebirth 12 hours (approximately) after they die. I have tested this out and it is confirmed. So I will not be able to make any changes in my deck for awhile (which sucks) due to the fact that I do not want to raise my maximum power. I need lots of bloody lords so I will be farming them for quite awhile.

2. So basically my plan is to use the same deck for each gauntlet round until it won't win anymore. Then I will add some of my more powerful/synergic cards and hopefully beat them with my advanced deck. It sucks I have to wait 12 hours in between each fight (sometimes) but that is okay. I want to clear this gauntlet.

So far I have been able to win 1 or 2 gauntlets a day by just letting my creatures refresh.

3. The cards you can use for the Guantlet come from your 4 Active Decks so It is a good idea to use 4 different decks entirely.

4. Creatures you kill appear to stay dead. So if you can use other cards to soften up your opponent for your main deck. for the last level (15) I use an instakill/dispose deck and just try and kill of whatever I can before I send in a strong deck afterwords. For a really hard deck I will use an instakill/disposal deck, then a Gladiator linked High damage deck and then a powerful Wight Deck. Its a noob tube way of doing things but at least it gets it done. The Rewards from the Final Gauntlet are Sick.

Deck Heroes Newbie Walkthrough Map 4-1 to 4-4

Well bad new my friends. IGG has still not restored my account which sux because I had a lot of great stuff about to come to fruition to share with all of you. But since I am still patiently waiting I will continue with my Newbie Walkthrough of Deck Heroes Day 2. I hope it is helpful to you new players.

to Recap from Day 1 my Deck looks like this and I am on Map 4-1

Flame Brave lvl 8
Magic Weaver lvl 0
Frost Rager lvl 5
Frost Rager lvl 5
Ursa Major lvl 5
Hanuman Lvl 1

After Reset

I reached Level 16 and did enough Star Chests to get my Ursa Major so I load him into the deck. He doesnt have synergy with the Faen but he is a really good 4 star. And he does complement the Frost Ragers even if he doesnt buff.
Join a Guild

I Buy Elder Mawrek shards with your Glory Points. He is very useful. Agni and Captain Crook are other useful 2 star creatures. The rest I would not bother with but. Most of your glory points should be used to buy Agni Shards and Elder Mawrek Shards. I would wait until you get access to raids before you even think about upgrading Nightraider.

Agni is good because she is and Elf with more skills plus she can be used for a beginner curse deck. and Elder Mawrek is useful for guild maps until you get your four star. There will be a time later that you may branch off from Elves and we will get to that. For now I suggest you stick with my walkthrough.

1. Farm more Dark Assassins

2. Do the Daily Tasks

3. Upgrade Ursa Major to Level 5

4. Complete the Maze that I started earlier

5. Okay so I farmed the rest of the Frost Rager Shards right before reset so I should be able to get two more of those today.

6. Then I do both mazes because I need the coins and Essences to enhance my cards.

7. When I turn level 18. I immediately I do the trials Make sure to look at the Credit Mall and then get your coupon shard shard from daily tasks. I play until I lose and then At the end of the day when my deck is stronger I will go through and beat as many more as possible.

8. Make sure you go to the credits mall in the trials. Only buy 4 Star hero shards at first. If you have to buy 3 Star Shards because you are impatient (that is okay I am too) you should buy Chaos Witch for your curse deck. It Doesnt matter if it takes a week to get a set of shards. Save up. Remember Deck Heres is a (very) long term strategy game. I will be buying Berserker first because he is great for guild maps. I will work on the Arena later.

9. For Giggles I do the colliseum. I get enough gems to do the alchemy.

10. When you use gems to draw 5 creatures for the first time you get a free 5 star creature so I go for my first 5 star straw from the Altar from the Draw. I will get star membership and then save up for next alchemy. Even if I dont get star, I will hoard my gems for the next Alchemy.

11. I get lucky and draw a Hanuman. He will come in very handy. I am going to pretend I dont have him for the sake of this guide however. Just use whatever 5 star you have in place of him. It all basically works the same for awhile.

12. I farm another Frost Rager but I may leave Magic Weaver in to Heal for now.

13. I use some of the coins to level Hanuman. I save about 50k for bazaar purchases

14. I usually wait until the end of the day to burn through all my coins.

At this point my Deck looks like this

15. When I reach lvl 25 I will add the Frost Rager that I farmed.

16. I beat 4-1 with my new 5 Star

17. I do not farm Dream Healer because at 4-2 you can farm Treant Guide who is a very very decent healer for newbies.

18. I keep fighting on the map.

19. I stop at 4-3 to farm Fire Lizard for my Thalassa

20. I collect energy from Friends (hopefully)

and I keep fighting

21. These days I keep Flame Brave far to the right and use Ursa Major and Frosters as tanks.

22. I get hung up on 4-4 but thats okay. My deck will be much stronger later today.

23. I am out of energy so I just enhance my 5 star a little more saving 50k in reserve for bazaar and then I am going back to real life until blessing.

Afternoon blessing

24. I buy 5 Agni shards, a 1 star glory and 1 2* essence from Bazaar

25. Then I go back to clearing old dungeon maps

26. I use a referral code to get me some coupons and coins no gems (bleh). But I now have coupons so I can do the 5x Coupon draw from altar. I draw but dont get anything immediately useful.

27. When I get to Map 2 Old Dungeons I use my Deck 2 so I can edit in 1 and 2 star creatures without messing with my primary deck.

28. I enhance Hanuman (your 5 star) some more with dungeon reward gold. keeping 50k in reserve.

29. I give 4-4 another go but I am still hung up but closer to passing it

30. After i clear Dungeon Maps 2 I use the gold and essences to level up my 5 star saving 50k for the last bazaar after that I will burn the rest of the coins in enhancing.

31. I go ahead and Farm another Frost Rager just for giggles and I will need her later.

32. I reach level 20 now so I join any old guild. I will join a better one at higher level. Maybe I will get lucky with this one and get promoted to captain or soemthing. It was a good thing I farmed that Rager cause I will need her now for the guild map.

33. I do the guild maps to get extra gold for enhancing.

34. Make sure you apply for a bounty I recommend applying for whole cards instead of shards until you get more cards.

35. Got very lucky at the Bazaar and got 5 nightraider shards a glory card and some essences.

36. After last bazaar you also get arena awards. Coins and Glory

37. I burn through my coins enhancing my 5 star.

38. I'm too tired to do anything else today so I go back and farm more Thalassa Shards and Treant Guide just in case I need a healer.

39. I cant get raided yet so I keep my glory points as is.

So at the End of Day 2 My Deck looks like this

My Five Star Creature lvl 6
Flame Brave lvl 8
Ursa Major lvl 5
3x Frost Rager lvl 5

Rank 1768 in Arena

Deck Heroes April Double Meld Day Summary

Okay life is busy today but I wanted to do a quick post on the Double Meld event because I learned a couple things that I wanted to share. I didn't get to meld as many creatures as I would have liked because I ran out of duplicates. Shard rates have been atrocious recently. Okay, here are the melds that I worked on. I only got one successful meld but I will be able to finish the other two when I acquire the duplicates.

Deck Heroes April Double Meld Summary

1. I successfully melded Death March onto a Dark Witch by sheer luck.

2. I melded my Frosty Paladin and Frosty Colossus to 90%.

3. Bless on Frost Rager for Guild Maps. Just because I had money to burn. It wasnt successful and I ran out of duplicates.

Man I really wanted to do some more melds but I don't have the right duplicates or materials. I have 4 million in gold that I cannot spend. But still I learned a couple lessons today. The first and most important is that once I get the expertise to 90% (or within 1 meld attempt) that I do not have to wait for the next double meld event to complete the meld. As soon as I get another 2 Paladins and Colossuses I am good to go. Because at 90% it doesn't matter whether I meld at 15% or 30%. Either way my next meld will be successful.

The next thing I learned is that I need to be evolving more creatures for possible melds. I totally forgot that I could have made some more Border Weakarangers and maybe a Royal Dragon. But I guess what I mean is this. I will be more stocked up on materials by the next 2x Meld event that way if I dont burn through my money I might have the option to meld something else. I will make sure I have enough materials of all Factions for an Evolve on the fly from now on.'

Overall I think the event went as well for me that it could with what I had available to me. I really wish Deck Heroes would not be so stingy with the Shard Drop Rates. It never used to be this bad in the beginning. It shouldn't take me one month of farming everyday to get a duplicate for the next Meld Event. Bleh. But the devs want us rolling gems for Cards and not creating our own.

How to Beat Faen Chamber 4 in Deck Heroes

Okay I am posting Ragnarok's video on How to Beat Faen Chapter 4 if you have spikey bits. I don't have a 3+ Neander Hero yet so I will be posting an alternative method for cracking this chamber soon. But I thought that Ragnarok's video would help some of you in the meantime. As soon as the Easter Egg Event is over I will begin working on my alternative Solution Guide for this Chamber.

How to Beat Faen Chapter 4

Okay well that is what I have for now. But it is one of the topics that is of interest to me right now as I am getting ready to try and meld a horny beast this next double meld event. I might not need to use this method because I can buy Materials in Guild Mall now for dirt cheap. But after cracking 9-10, I am interested in hunting more Grizzly Bears.

Sorry for the short post, but this blog is really taking off and I wanted to get something down on paper today even though I don't feel real good. I will expand on it soon. Check out below for how to beat Human Chamber 4.

Easy Raid Deck for Deck Heroes 10k Glory a Day

I have a great method that you can use to autofight raids and get 10 thousand glory points a day. This video is something I have been doing for awhile but the addition of my Wight makes it unstoppable with the right raid choice.  I have some thoughts of my own in response to some of the comments. The main thing that you need to know is that Undying and Shadow Hex are your best skills on Wight, Balrog or Chaos Witch. Its okay to press auto since all your creatures are the same and placement doesn't really matter.

Easy Raid Deck for Deck Heroes 10k Glory a Day

Someone on Youtube suggested that Titania would own this deck but I fought 3 decks with Titania today, pressed auto and got the glory points every time. So I think it depends on more on the Combination of Titania and other Heroes and Creatures than Titania herself. Wight with Undying and Shadow Hex is a powerful beast. Now if the Deck had 3 Titanias it might be a problem. But one Titania doesn't seem to affect the outcome very much.

I do try avoid decks with healing heroes and spammy oracle type decks. But you have to remember that you are usually going to be fighting noob decks with this method. I am not trying to insult anyone who commented on YouTube at all. They know the counters to this. But let's face it you aren't going to be facing any of these guys because they aren't noobs and their deck strength will be out of your raid choices anyways.

Defending against curse decks once you have a 4 star heroes and some synergy is not difficult. I have put no thought into it and have never successfully been raided by a curse deck. I get raped by a lot of people with better decks on a daily basis but not none of them are pure curse decks.

The raid rapes have slowed down since I have gotten my Wight developed though. My Devil Hunter got hit really hard from raids but Devil Hunters aren't that good until level 10 and then they are fricking Epic.

My best advice is to switch out your raid deck for your main deck after raiding. And then even if your opponent has 3 Titania's, they wont be facing your spammy curse deck but your main deck instead. I am not sure about this but I am pretty sure you face whatever deck your opponent has loaded at the time not what deck he raided you with.

Please correct me if I am wrong. I have never been successfully been revenged using this method and I've been doing it about 2 months. I switch from my raid deck to my main deck and when they try to revenge they usually lose. It's nice when they come for revenge and then you avenge them right back for more glory points.

There's another strategy where if your decks power is <2500 then you will get paired up with weaker decks and lower level players who can have around 20000 glory points. Use any mortii hero with undying, thalassa and at least 3 good aoe creatures (Flame brave, fire mage, pit minion etc and you should easily be able to win. Get about 200000 glory points a day. I didnt have much luck with this but I haven't tried it much. My curse deck auto kills for glory just fine.

Guild Deck Melds for Incredible Damage

I've had a few ideas for some guild deck melds that should be able to do some great damage on Guild Maps. If you are a free player, you should concentrate on your Guild Decks to start with. Unless you get lucky and draw some amazing 5 stars which never happens anymore you had better start melding 4 star creatures. Ragnarok does a great video on my 4 star meld post about proper Heroes.

If you are just starting out you will want to meld things like anger, bloodlust and bless onto Frost Ragers. They will carry you through until you can Meld 4 Star Creatures efficiently. But eventually, You will want to just meld Frost Armor onto Creatures that you think will do some great damage on Guild maps. Here is a short list of creatures that I have been working on.

The melding stats are based off of Double meld event in which the maximum number of copies to guarantee a successful meld for a 4 star is 6 copies depending on the skill melded.

Farm oracles like crazy, close to 18, meld frost armor on all 3 or meld bless on frost ragers (much quicker but not as good)

Guild Deck Melds for Incredible Damage

Farm 6 Paladin meld frost armor

Farm 6 Tauros Elder meld frost armor

Farm 6 Tauro General meld frost armor

Collect 6 Neander Giants meld frost armor (you can collect a few on map 9 hard)

Collect 6 Royal Dragons meld frost armor

Collect 6 Techno-Chiefs meld frost armor, life sap, battleblow (whatever you prefer)

Collect 6 swordmasters meld battle-blow or Bloodlust (whatever you prefer)
Juggernaut, and Royal Knight with frost armor are ideal as well.

Those are some great ideas that I have seen floating around the chat and forums. I had come up with alot of these on my own but I found some new ones from the forum that I wanted to share with my readers. And for the haters (theres been a couple) I don't make any money from this blog I am just trying to help and keep things organized for myself. I like having all my data in one place and if it helps others great.

Deck Heroes Building a Four Star Deck

I have decided to do a post on how to make a good 4 star deck. Every since the last big update Deck Heroes has become increasingly more P2W. However I do think that if you are in a good Guild this counteracts it a little bit because 4 star hero shards are easier to acquire. The only problem is the that the Rick Kid Guilds will now have level 10 fully enhanced 4 star Heroes as well and be eons ahead of the rest of us. I will be doing a discussion of Pay to Win that I will link here. Some of them have already paid for 5 star heroes by now.

Deck Heroes Building a Four Star Deck

But the good news for us is that being able to develop a 4 star hero quicker will enable us to build better guild map decks. Being able to own guild maps will give you more gold and shards and enable you to make more good 4 star Melds. As this video from Ragnarok 888 shows below, many 4 star melded creatures are better than mediocre 5 stars. I learned a lot from this video so a Big Thank you to Naruto. I have been making some big mistakes due to impatience that I will go over after the video.

As you can see from the Video, even a top player uses 4 star melds to be competitive and I felt his commentary on 4 star heroes was genius. I am abandoning my Devil Hunter development (fully developed he is a beast though) and focusing on Wight and Berserker from Trial and Guilds and Dragonlord from the gauntlet. I just got my wight and have developed him fairly quickly over the past couple days. I need Shadow Hex 5 or more to make a run at 9-10.

Berserker and Dragon Lord are for Guild maps (generally)

Wight is for the other stuff. But its situational based on opponents deck.

My key mistake has been not saving my gold and shards for the meld event. Fortunately I have been pretty lucky with instamelds lately. But I will now only spend gold on evolving creatures and then I will wait for the melding event to use the bulk of my gold and shards to really have a go for it. I have posted some of Ragnaroks melds from the video below and then I will link to the master melding guide in the other topics section.

How to Get 5 Star Cards in Deck Heroes

I've had a lot of questions from new players asking how to get 5 star cards in Deck Heroes. So I thought I would do a breakdown of the various methods that can be employed to attain 5 star creatures. Drawing creatures isn't easy but there is one surefire way to get 5 Stars. You have to unlock the Seals. First, I will briefly go over the various methods of getting 5 star cards and then I will go through the process of breaking Seals and what cards are worth unsealing.

don't exactly agree with everything in this video but it is an interesting one from Stargater and has a lot of good advice. Lucky Spin sucks though its a sham.

How to Get 5 Star Cards in Deck Heroes

The Certain ways to get  5 Star Cards

1. Collecting 5* Shards from Guild Maps. The only problem with this is that it takes a long time.

2. Every 10 Ultima Chests...I thought this was a good idea but a high level told me it was more efficient to buy gem bags and boosters so I am unsure. I did acquire a Titania however.

3. Buying them with Gems from Gem Shop as Rewards but this will require a small fortune of real life money.

5 Star Creatures in Seals

The primary way for you to acquire 5 star cards is to farm cards to unlock Seals. You unlock Seals by having the required amount of other cards. Then you press unseal and voila you got a 5 star. Some 5 Stars are better than others. I am going to give you a quick breakdown on the what creatures you can acquire this way and what I know (or think I know) about them.

Unsealing Creatures

Thalassa

1. Thalassa is awesome. You will want two of him. His recycle skill comes in very handy. For those of you who like longer fights you can last indefinitely if you have one Thalassa recycling the other and the other cards. It takes a while to get two of him but it is worth it. Not everyone keeps the second thalassa and instead melds Recycle onto another Card. I am looking into this. I am thinking about maybe mixing Recycle and Rebirth or trying to get it on Venom Tyrant which would be absolutely insane lol (dont try this).

Spider Queen

2. Spider Queen is very useful for killing Humans and she has strong immunity. I am not sure that more than one of her is necessary but its personal preference and up to you. I have seen multiples in decks and I might unlock another eventually but I have other priorities at the moment.

Moon Guardian

3. Moon Guardian is one creature I am not very sure of. Most of the players have commented that she sucks and but I don't know I usually rock a flame brave so she might combo well with her. After I started writing this post, I decided to go ahead and unseal her.

I should have her by the weekend and hopefully can report back more. I was almost there anyways and figured what the hey. I might steal the bless off an oracle for a frost rager though so it might take me a little longer to unseal Moonie. Its going to be hard to give up an oracle to make this unseal.

Upon More Thought I will probably Meld Sneak off Moon Guardian onto a more useful card kind of like having double battleblow.

Venom Tyrant

4. Venom Tyrant is worth working for. You will probably want to meld his sacrifice skill onto another card however. If you put Sacrifice on a card with better skills then you can really do some damage. It might be wise to keep him but most of my friends have melded away his sacrifice onto other cards.

Ares Deck Heroes

5. Ares is a very good card. I haven't attained him yet so I don't know how many you would want in your deck. But you definitely want at least 1. He is a badass.

6. Phoenix I don't know that much about but it is quite annoying in Guild Maps and I am sure that I will unlock him when I have the chance.  I am pretty sure he will pair well with my Devil Hunter. He can do up to 2400-4000 magic damage which is pretty impressive and has 60% rebirth.

Random Ways to Get 5 Star Cards

1. Maze Rewards
2. Gem Bags.
3. Booster Packs.
4. etc

2 and 3 Star Heroes Who Don't Suck

As you move on to bigger and better things most of your 2 and 3 star heroes plus all of your 1 stars will be used as enhancement fodder for your 4 star hero. But not all the 2 and 3 star heroes suck and there are a few that you should consider keeping. I am not suggesting that you forego using a four star hero at all. But these are the lesser Heroes that I have kept around for special occasions.

I wouldn't sacrifice any Hero that is 2 stars or above that you have developed and definitely no 3 stars. Because with enough cards you can build courier decks for Guild Battles/Wars. But these are the Heroes that have other uses beyond that. If u have enough quality cards who knows maybe we will start rocking 1 stars in the guild wars but I am not sure you could plunder anyone with 1 star heroes.

Update Guild Wars: You should  be keeping all your heroes now so this post is a little bit outdated. You want as many couriers as you can possibly send out. So as long as you have a Hero and some Creatures left you should send them out.

2 and 3 Star Heroes Who Don't Suck

Agni's shards are cheap and she is easily developed. I was working on a curse deck and her boom feature can really do alot of damage to a hero. I am not sure if I will ever use her again but she might come in handy for gauntlet or guild wars with a curse deck when other cards are destroyed.

Elder Mawrek

Elder Mawrek remains useful for guild maps so I would develop this guy all the way. There are times when I prefer him over my 3 and 4 star heroes. I only wrote 2 sentences on this guy but THIS GUY ROCKS. He is my favorite lesser Hero.

Gladiator

Gladiator is very useful against a spam-healing Predator like the one you face on 9-10 and maybe Faen Chamber 4. Dont play any cards until your special Chainz is ready and then deploy high damage cards via battleblow, warlust, sweeping blow, or flamey brave type skills. Sometimes you can kill the entire deck. Just make sure you have some blessers like oracles to step in after you launch your attack cause your Gladiator will be weak.

Note: If you have a good Wight, then you should be able to take down a Predator. Most of the people who beat map 9-10 are all rocking Wights. But if you were like me and got Devil Hunter then you are going to struggle. I tried a bunch of different Hunter Decks and just couldn't get it done. So I am developing Spartacus to try and take down.

Tauro Brute

Tauro Brute has spikey bits which is arguable the most powerful hero skill in the game. You can switch him out with a berserker but not many people play him as of yet myself included so I just don't know much about the Berserker. I had like zero neander cards when it came time to choose a 4 star.

Update May 19th

***I was totally wrong about Balrog he is perfect for Sabotage Decks for gauntlet and certain higher map levels with Hypollata and Great Mystic. I think there is a 5 star hero with corpse disposal bet getting 5 star heroes takes a long time unless ur spending boo koo bucks.

Honorable Mentions

Chaos Witch and Balrog are not bad but both kind of superseded by Wight in my opinion. Chaos Witch can stay competitive however with the right enhancements and Deck. My Devil Hunter has lost to a Chaos Witch with much less power. But especially after Guild Wars making 4 Star heroes so much quicker to come by, I would just dump them and move on to your Wight if that is the four star hero you have chosen. Chaos Witch can reduce rage as well which can come in handy in the right situation.

Chaos Witch can be used successfully in Guild Wars with Curse Decks as another Team.

I have seen Bowmaster remain competitive pretty far. She has occasionally beaten my Deck Hunter but I think most 4 star creatures (mine included) will take her out. But I suspect these were on the top edge of development on their way out.

Captain Crook. I haven't used him in weeks but for experimentation purposes I have kept him around. Maybe for a lockdown/weaken deck. I dont think it will pay off but I am still curious.  Patriarch also makes the Captain superfluous but I don't have one so. Patriarch is not competitive at higher arena levels so he does not make this list really. But if you have him then you don't need Crook.

The rest of the 2 and 3 stars I have no use for (personally) I might be wrong but I sacrificed them for glory points to enhance my 5 stars.

Frost Rager Melds for Guild Maps

Okay I had to make yet another Frost Rager Post because the Frost Rager is like the Jack of all Trades when it comes to guild maps. I only have one meld so far listed but I have some more ideas that I will flesh out over the next couple days. This post is just for Guild Maps...If you want melds for Regular Maps or Arena I have a separate post here

Note: Frost Rager is great and very easy to acquire. But Sentry Angel will gradually replace her being that he has the same skills. But this will take a lot of time due to the fact that you can't farm him as quickly.

I wish that I could go back to day one and completely change how I played this game. I and (you) should focus on conquering the guild maps first. Finding a Good Guild with multiple open maps really helps. But regardless, with creature drop rates plummeting every update you should really focus on the getting high guild map damage. More gold and shards equals more 4-5 star creatures from shards and melds. I will be doing a separate post on guild bounties that you can find here.

The Frost Rager is a cheap and versatile option for building guild map decks. Because it already has Frost Armor and Restoration and Elven Salve, it is difficult to kill. Magic and bullseye is her only weakness but you can always get some Reflect Ragers or ImmuniRagers to tank for you vs High Magic opponents. (theoretically) So you can add a 4th skill to basically fit your needs. Here are the various melds I have or am in the process of creating.

Frost Rager Melds for Guild Maps

The Angry Rager - Frost Ranger with Angry 6 from []. This is the first Rager meld I suggest you create. It basically turns the Rager into an Ursa Major without the Stab-through which you don't want on guild maps. Now Ursa Majors are good for guild maps when the enemy only has physical damage guys left like Fafnir or Swordmaster as long as you can heal him. He might get up 5k per turn by the end if he takes enough damage.

I prefer the Angry Rager over the Bloodlust Rager because in a guild map it is almost certain that you are going to take damage but since a lot of the opponent cards that deal physical damage often have dodge (or hero puts fleet-footed on them) it is not always assured that you will do damage.

Bless Ranger-Someone suggested Frost Rager with Bless and this is an okay option on the cheap but Oracles already have great skills. I may make Bless Rangers eventually just to boost the HP of my deck but I am working on Frostacles (Oracles with Frost Armor) first especially because I need a couple more Angry Ragers

You can have a bunch of specialties for Frost Ragers because most of the beginning 3 maps do not have Titania. So basically you can create a whole squad of Ragers to be your Tanks, Healers, Support, Assassin or Fatigue. I may even try to create a lockdown rager. I hope that this has been an interesting post for you. I am getting much better at guild maps and wanted to share one thing that I have learned over the past week.

I've got some more ideas that I will post soon but I have so many posts I want to do after not being able to post for a weak. Some of my ideas for my Guild Map Guide are spilling over here. I will come back and clean it up.

The Deck I am Working On

1 Block Rager
1 Assassin Rager
2 Reflect Ragers
2 Angry Ragers
2 Oracles
2 Sprite Link Ragers

I will of course be phasing these out when high level melds like the Tauro General (and others the post is coming soon) make Ragers not as good. But for now they so cheap and easy to evolve and meld I figure why not.

Deck Heroes 2 Star Cards that are Worth Keeping

Okay this might be a short list but there are a few 2 star cards worth keeping and I will explain why below. I came up with the idea to do this post after someone was asking what they should do with their 1 and 2 star cards. You should keep about 3 two star cards to help you complete the dungeon maps.

Deck Heroes 2 Star Cards Worth Keeping

Flame Warden is useful skill for Dungeon Maps

Frost Warden also has a useful skill and is good for Dungeon Maps. She will give your cards a moderate heal when played and might ice up a card for you.

Black Widow has  a really good life sap which can be melded onto better creatures. It also has the highest level of Afflict so you can use your Imp Lords for other things

Okay that is my beginning to my short list of 2 stars that are worth keeping. I am sorry it is so rough and short but I have to get up and take care of Misses Impossible. I accidentally pressed publish so I figured I'd better write down what content that I had so far. Sorry about that. I will add more images, content, and hopefully cards this afternoon sometime.

Eye of Jonarra Melds

Eye of Jonarra Melds

Eye of Jonarra Melds

Okay here are a few Eye of Jonarra Meld ideas floating around the chat and other places. I am in shard collection mode. I am going to add the general consensus and as usual I will look through my creatures and see if I have any other ideas.

1. Frost Armor seems to be one of the biggies here. Alot of people want to keep this one on the battlefield as long as possible.

2. Immunity is the other popular option because you usually put this card to the farthest right as you possibly can. Cards on the right are primarily subject to magic damage and Immunity also protects from lockdown skills.

I know its a short post today but I promise I will be adding to it. Life is crazy busy this week but those are the two most popular melds for the Eye of Jonarra. But I will turn on the Analyzer in my brain and see what else unfolds. Have a good night all and as usual you can check out the other melds below.

The Best Card in Deck Heroes Right Now

So a lot of people were asking me what I thought the best card was in Deck Heroes. This is a very subjective question but for the answer would have to be this weird looking chick below me. I don't know what is with the hat she is wearing but she makes almost any deck unbeatable once she is deployed. At least in my own personal Experience.

The Best Card in Deck Heroes Right Now?

Dahlia is the Best Card in Deck Heroes

There she is Ms Pink with the Funky Hogwarts Hat, the Pink Eyes and Protruding Knockers. She is a beast. Dahlia sacrifices a card making her stats skyrocket then she curses your hero for damage and then starts bringing back 2 creatures from the dead every turn. Instakill or dispose of this card or face your doom.

How to Beat Human Chamber Four in Deck Heroes

To get full rewards on Human Chamber 4 you will need 5 Neander and 5 Mortii cards. Your Neander Cards should primarily have Ravage (Anti-Human) skills. You will also need two 3 star cards. One of those 3 star cards should be Troll Scout because it has Ravage and does a lot of damage to Human Decks.

Basically, You want to choose your Neander Cards for their ability to Damage Humans or buff the neanders that damage humans. Cyclops is the exception but he instakills and has sweeping blow so rock on. You can swap out your neander cards for other factions if for say you don't have a Nidhogg, but you have a Hanuman or Balthazaar but you must have 5 Mortii Cards to get full rewards. Personally I would stick with Neander Ravage cards but you might find a better way.

Choose Mortii Cards for their skills. Undying has instakill and rebirth, Thalassa has recycle, Gorgon or Phantom Liege (which I don't have) will compliment the deck nicely due to their Disposal and Delay/Seal tactics.

My Human Chamber 4 Deck

Hero: Elder Mawrek with level 7 Blood Rite. Elder Mawrek is one of the 2 star heroes that are awesome and virtually free to develop thanks to the bazaar. He is also great for guild maps so buy him and level him up.

Mortii

1. Thalassa is useful for its recycle function and is easily farmed from the seals.
2. Dullahan just because I am short on Mortii cards but hes 4 star and does good.
3. Terror Dragon because he doubles attack when he has lower hp.
4. Undying will has instakill upon death and then can recycle and do it again.
5. Manticore is my 3 star just by default. But his cloudburst does help

Neander

1. Spider Queen is useful because she destroys humans with Ravage and is also easily farmed from the seal.
2. Nidhogg is a great option because he seals and adds 500 hp to your other 5 neander and has delay abilities.
3. Cyclops is good because he instakills and has sweeping blow.
4. Howling King kills humans (Ravage) like a boss. Mine is only level 6 (so far) and still wreaks havok
5. Troll Scout because of Ravage and he is 3 star. VERY EFFECTIVE though. He might as well be a five star card for this deck.

If you don't have Howling King or Cyclops then I'd just experiment with the best Neanders you have. If you have mortii cards with delay and disposal you can probably just toss more Troll Scouts on there. Troll Scout melded will battleblow would definitely get the job done but its probably overkill.

Just don't attack the hero or place more cards than your enemy. You don't want to deal with more dragons any faster than you have to. Basically, you just want to do as much damage creature vs creature as you can. Ravage, Dispose and Delay/Seals/Cloudburst etc then Rinse and Repeat.

Okay well that wraps up my Deck building Guide for Human Chamber 4. I have had about 66% success with full rewards (about 3/5) times that I farmed Chamber 4. It just depends on the draw and the creature placement. But I am getting ready to start melding my first Vampire Paladin so I am not going to sweat a little bit of lost energy.

Update: March 2015. This deck has been less effective recently I am not sure if they tweaked it or whether I had just gotten lucky initially. After I added my four star hero to the mix however, I beat the Chamber 100% of the time.

Deck Heroes Chamber 4 Deck Building Guide

I finally cracked Human Chamber Four so I wanted to share my deck and cards with you. So now I present to you my guide to farming Chamber 4 so that you can meld and evolve 4 star creatures. I haven't found much advice online about getting through Chamber Four so I think (hope) that this guide will be helpful. I only have one Chamber unlocked so far but it is the most important chamber and I expect that the rest of the chambers will fall easily now that I have accomplished this.

My Chamber 4 deck is nothing special. It has creatures that are very easily acquired for the most part. Even if they aren't they can be substituted with other creatures. It is the skills that are important. Once you have this deck created, Human Chamber 4 will be the easiest chamber to finish, even easier than Chamber 1 (for me). Okay lets get started.

I chose to work on Human Chamber Four for one simple reason. Humans have the most and best 4 star cards that can be evolved and melded to suit a variety of needs. After you are able to meld Human 4 star cards I don't think you will ever want to meld 3 star cards again other than Frost Ragers.

Then, after I meld a few swordmasters, colossuses, paladins and techno chiefs, I expect the Mortii Deck to fall quickly after (we will see though. I hear Mortii is the hardest). Then finally the Faen Deck.

The Neander Chamber is one of the easiest. It fell quickly and I will hopefully have a guide for you later today that I will add below and link to here.

Regardless, Cracking Human Chamber 4 is the easiest and the most beneficial imho.

As soon as I crack the other chambers I will post the strategy here. As I adjust this deck to make it better I will also post that. If any of you have any tips that you would like to share I know it would help. I just like to share what has worked for me to pass it forward.
